Curious as to what different
published works have to say on the matter I did some research.

Resa Aslan's Historiographical Flaws
In the middle of July this year, religious scholar Reza Aslan released his book Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth. The way I heard about it is through an interview gone bad on Fox News.

Forgotten
Last night as I was commuting home from work (2 hour drive) I put in some Kutless, a band I regularly listened to 10 years ago, and I worshipped in a very connecting way with God for the first time in years. Reflecting on this, I realized that as an apologists I must not forget to worship God authentically with my mind, but also with my soul as well. It is good to be reminded.

Repectfully, Is It That Straight Forward?
Respectfully(as defined in 1 Tim 5:1), is the rising of the saints passage this simple to interpret?
I Am Not Sure
I respect my fellow apologists. I know they strive to put forth rational arguments. However, is this in line with 1 Tim 5:1 and others passages? I am not sure.

150 Years Ago Today

It is hard to believe that 150 years ago today the battle of Gettysburg began and ended on July 3rd. It was probably the turning point of the war into the North's favor. However, it was the bloodiest with about 51,000 in causalities. Thanks to my parents, I had the privilege of seeing the battlefield when I was in 9th grade.

D.A. Carson and R.C. Sproul on Biblical Exegesis
25 min video on biblical exegesis.
"It would be a tragic mistake for us to claim more for Scripture than Scripture claims for itself. It would be equally tragic, however, for us to claim less for Scripture than Scripture claims for itself."[1]
